8th June 2026 – Demonstration 7-9pm, Rita Sadler, Adventurous Still Life Acrylic/Mixed-Media
Rita is an artist who teaches, runs workshops, demonstrates and exhibits her work widely.  She is a member of several Artists Societies and an elected member of the Leicester Society of Artists.
She lives and works in the East Midlands and has been teaching for over 25 years. Rita runs classes in various venues. Workshops are held in her purpose built garden studio.
This event is free to members but if you would like to come see the presentation and try us out, you can for just £5 entry fee on the night – so why not come and find out and get involved.
 
8th June 2026 – Workshop 10-4pm, Greta Vilidaite

Workshop in Gouache 10am to 4pm.  Greta has moved from neuroscience into being a full time artist and works in oils, acrylics and gouache. Bring a packed lunch, tea, coffee & cake included. Price is £32.50 per person, you will need to bring watercolour paper or card, gouache and brushes.

Greta will bring along a reference image, similar to the landscape below that brings out the Gouache and you will paint something like this during the day!

13th July 2026 – Demonstration 7-9pm, Nicky Hunter, Flamboyant Watercolour Florals

Nicky Hunter is a professional watercolour artist based in Buckinghamshire. Her creative foundation was built initially gaining an art & design Diploma at Telford College, followed by studying at De Montfort University, where she earned a degree in Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. This education launched an illustrious twenty-year career that took her across India, China, and Europe in search of the luxurious silks and evocative fabrics that inspired her work.

Nicky specialises in flamboyant floral paintings with are based on realism with a hint of romance!
