Hinckley and District Society of Art Exhibition

The final Art Society event of the Burbage Community Arts Festival was as art exhibition held by our society at Burbage Congregational Church Hall. The 2 day event proved very  successful with several hundred people coming to view and buy paintings, all of which were done by local artists.

Written comments received in the Visitor's book were very complimentary. Plans are already in hand to join up with BCAF next year for another exhibition.

An award was presented to Mike Brown for his oil painting of Audrey Hepburn playing Eliza from My Fair Lady. this was voted, by the visitors,  as best painting in the exhibition.
