Dave Woolass Demonstration Evening
Dave Woolass entertained The Society with his ready wit and a wonderful demonstraion of a seascape in oils. 52 people attended – perhaps we should buy a dishwasher or a big jar of luxury handcream for the ladies serving refreshments – thank you ladies!!!
New Shed!
In 2014 The Hinckley and District Society of Arts were awarded an Arts Council Grant of £1800. A further £291 was also raised. This has allowed the Society to acquire the materials for a permanent storage unit along with 15 double sided exhibition stands. Therefore on the 1st April it was all hands on deck.
