12th January 2026 – 7-9pm, Demonstration – Nick Logan – Colour Diversity in Portraiture
Nick is a portrait painter who studied at the Glasgow School of Art, he is going to show his approach to using colour in portrait painting.
This event is free to members but if you would like to come see the presentation and try us out, you can for just £5 entry fee on the night – so why not come and find out and get involved.

AGM Agenda will be issued in late Jan 26. If any members have any spare art materials which we can include in our auction please let Sara know and we will include them in the catalogue. HDSA Buffet.

20th February 2026 – 7-9pm, Workshop – Ian McManus
Watercolour Street Scene Workshop 10am to 4pm. Ian will take us through a watercolour street scene stage by stage. Bring a packed lunch, tea, coffee & cake included. Price is £30 per person and you will need to bring watercolour paper and paints/brushes

Cordell is a contemporary portrait painter and will carry out a portrait painting demonstration in oil.
