Bit of an update, Freda, our fragmented picture, has gone on walkabouts, escaping the shed to the sanctuary of Burbage Community Library.  She is accepting visitors if you would like to go see her!  Opening times and the Library web pages can be found by following the link Burbage Community Library

13th October 2025 – 7-9pm, Demonstration – Darren Awang Watercolour Illustrations & Life Stories
This event is free to members but if you would like to come see the presentation and try us out, you can for just £5 entry fee on the night – so why not come and find out and get involved.
Darren works in occupational health and is interested in art for well-being. He creates stories of people’s lives using street scenes as well as providing illustrations for art work and books.
20th October 2025 – Workshop 10am – 4pm – DJ – Woodland Light

27th October 2025 – 7-9pm, Do Your Own Thing (DYOT) 
Paint with other members, tea and biscuits provided

10th November 2025 – 7-9pm, Demonstration – Alix Almond –  Linocut Printmaking Techniques
This event is free to members but if you would like to come see the presentation and try us out, you can for just £5 entry fee on the night – so why not come and find out and get involved.
Former teacher Alix is now a full time linocut artist focussing on animals and birds and she will explain all about the different linocut print making techniques, materials and tools and show us how to print.
