Monday 12th October – New Demonstrator!
I would like to apologise to everyone for this last minute change to our programme which has arisen due to unforseen circumstances.
Our demonstrator now is Ian Risely who has very kndly agreed to step in at the last moment!
Ian, a self taught artist, has been working in pastel since 1990, specialising in animal/wildlife subjects and landscapes. After what he admits to being a shaky start to his pastel art career (his first set of pastels went in the bin would you believe!) he persevered and since then has hundreds of commissions under his belt. His work is hanging in private collections throughout the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. He gives lessons and workshops and organises sketching days.
On Monday he will be giving a demonstration in wildlife pastel painting.
I look forward to seeing everyone for what promises to be an entertaining and informative evening!
