Helen Neave Demonstration

The Hinckley and District Society for Arts is welcoming artist Helen Neave on Monday 13th July.

Helen studied at Gt Yarmouth and Bournemouth Colleges of Art and Design before travelling widely, observing and drawing wildlife in its natural habitat. Originally from Norfolk, she now lives and works in Leicestershire, lecturing for clubs and societies and also running classes and weekly demonstrations in watercolours and other graphic media.

Her demonstration will be on painting a portrait in watercolour, showing the techniques needed to achieve this, while her emphasis will be on enjoyment, relaxation and fun, getting together with like-minded people for a couple of hours of art.

Do come along and relax for a couple of hours. There will be light refreshments available.

The meeting will be held on Monday 13th July at Burbage Congregational Church Hall from 7pm to 9pm.
Non-members will be welcome on payment of £5.00 admission.

The society meets on the second Monday of each month for demonstration sessions by invited artists and on the fourth Monday of each month as an art club for hands-on art activity.

There is an admission charge of £2.50 for art club meetings for everyone. Non-members are welcome.
