Demonstration evening 14th September
The Hinckley and District Society of Arts will be welcoming Terry Harrison on Monday 14th September. Terry studied art at Farnham Art School, after which he worked in Graphics, then as an illustrator. In 1984 he decided to give up the day job and paint full time. His inspiration has always been Constable and Turner and his favourite subject is the traditional landscape.
In 1996 he won the prestigious Fine Art Guild award for the 'Best Up and Coming Artist'. Since 2001 he has been the author of over 20 books and has developed his own unique range of brushes and paints. Terry has also created teaching videos, many of which can be seen on the Painting and Drawing Channel on SKY TV.
Do join us to watch this brilliant artist at work on our demonstration evening on Monday 14th September at Burbage Congregational Church Hall from 7-9pm.
Non-members will be welcome on payment of £5.00 admission.
