9th OCTOBER TALK BY MICHAEL PAINTER ON WOOD CARVING & SCULPTURE

Michael will be giving an insight into his world of wood carving and sculpture accompanied by a slideshow. He is one of Britain’s most experienced and sought after Master Carvers. So accomplished is he that he presented a carved bust of William Morris to HRH the Queen Mother in 1991 and in 1994 was selected to become a member of The Royal Society of British Sculptures. He has taught his skills for 35 years and produced instructional DVDs.
Do come along for what promises to be a fascinating evening. All are welcome to attend. Non members are required to pay £5.00. Light refreshments will be served during the evening.
The demonstration will be held on Monday 9th October from 7-9pm at Burbage Congregational Church Hall, Church Street, Burbage LE10 2DD.
