10th October Talk and slide show by Pollyanna Pickering

World famous wildlife artist Pollyanna Pickering will be giving a talk entitled ‘A Brush with Wildlife’ accompanied by a slideshow. Pollyanna is passionate about wildlife and a champion of environmental conservation both nationally and internationally. She is a tireless campaigner for the welfare of endangered, sick and vulnerable creatures. She is also an artist who is passionate about interpreting her subject matter accurately which brings realism and vitality to her work. Her ability to impart such realism and feeling to her art is the result of a series of expeditions to study and sketch wildlife in their natural habitat. With this real life experience Pollyanna’s talk will assuredly be both refreshing and entertaining!
